Automotive locksmith returning a car key after assistance in Brussels

Our Car Door Opening service in Brussels

Locked your keys inside your vehicle, your car door won't open, or your door lock is jammed? ProSerrurier.com responds 24/7 across Brussels and the entire periphery to open your car without damage, subject to availability and traffic. Our technicians use specialized professional tools (inflatable wedges, articulated rods, long hook) that allow access to the interior unlock control without scratching the bodywork, breaking the window, or damaging the door seal. Whether you're outside your home, in a parking lot, at the station or on the roadside, we come to you.

Available 24/7 across the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region and the periphery (Waterloo, Zaventem, Vilvoorde, Braine-l'Alleud, Tervuren, Asse…), our car door opening service is provided by locksmith technicians. Free quote before any intervention — no hidden fees, no surprises.

We work on all lock and cylinder brands: Bricard, Vachette, Mul-T-Lock, KABA, Abloy, Medeco, Fichet-Bauche, Abus. Every intervention results in a detailed invoice, to submit to your insurer; coverage depends on your policy. Payment by Bancontact, Visa/Mastercard, transfer or cash.

Frequently Asked Questions — Car Door Opening

Can you open my car without breaking the window?

Yes, that is our main commitment. We use exclusively non-destructive techniques: an inflatable wedge and articulated rod to reach the interior unlock control, or a long hook for suitable vehicles. In 99% of cases, no window is touched. We warn you in advance if an exception is needed.

My car is modern with an alarm — can you open it?

Yes. Our physical opening techniques generally don't trigger the alarm, as they replicate the action of the interior handle or unlock control. For certain high-end vehicles with reinforced electronic protection (recent Volvo, Tesla, BMW), contact us to confirm we can help before you travel.

What's the difference with your key reprogramming service?

Car door opening means accessing the cabin when keys are locked inside or lost, without using the key. The reprogramming service concerns creating or coding a new key or remote in the vehicle's electronic system. Both services are complementary: if you've lost all your keys, we first open the car, then reprogram a new key.

What documents do I need to provide?

We always require the vehicle's registration document in your name (or that of a person present with power of attorney), as well as ID. This is a legal safety measure to prevent us from opening a stolen vehicle. In case of a rental, present the rental contract.

What should I do if I'm stuck on the highway or a main road?

Park safely on a shoulder or to the side, turn on your hazard lights and put on your orange safety vest if you have one. Call us at 0465 98 46 87, indicating the highway and the nearest kilometer marker. We serve everywhere within a 45 km radius around Brussels, including major routes (E40, E411, E19, E314).

How long does the intervention take?

The opening itself usually takes 5 to 15 minutes depending on the vehicle's make and model. Travel time from our Brussels base is 20 to 35 minutes depending on your location and traffic.
